Review: The All Liberian Music Festival 2022 (bicentennial edition)

The All Liberian Music Festival 2022 (bicentennial edition) would have been the biggest turnout in the country this year.

The past music fest held at the Afro-Beach- in Paynesville on 18th December was good. The event planners saw the need to promote local musicians noting they have something to offer.

Viewing the site prior to the day of the event and looking at the timing was something to consider. Observing stage setup, sound quality, and equipment to be used plus enjoying the views myself.

AllLiberianMusic fest

The beauty of the ocean, lagoons, huts, plum trees, coconuts trees, lights, and security at the entrances.

Unfortunately, the festival did not do much to cater to fans and lovers of other music like jazz tribal/native music, classical music, Afro-pop, Reggae and many others that would have been suitable for attendees.

The musicians that showed up supported the event massively. Even though all never did. Event planners should look out for this the next time to satisfy their customers.

The money management was in check and controlled by MTN mobile money services, which I thought was a brilliant idea.

The event was organized to promote Unity, Love, and Peace while sharing. Promoting all types of Liberian musicians.

Hopeful for global impact, and tourism, was the reason for supporting such a cause as a media partner?

Festivities like this go on for several days. But, considering the intent. This year’s gathering did spike positivity, that this can happen yearly with better planning and strategies in place.

Overall, it may lead to being the biggest activity in the region soon.
